Accumulating cutting-edge technology in the field of the water purification of rivers, ponds and lakes, Shingang Hi-Tech has pioneered the market based on its technological know-how and has a reputation as the leading company in the field. As our exponential increase in sales has led to a great leap forward, the company intends to maintain continuous growth and development by complementing existing technologies and new technology development.

From its foundation, the corporation made efforts to develop technologies in water quality purification for rivers, ponds and lakes. We have attained a wide range of technologies through 14 patents and seven utility models, three design applications beginning with ¡°River Purification Method and Device Using Bio-contactor¡± (patent), ¡°Purification System for Contaminated Rivers ands Ponds and Lakes¡± (Utility Model), ¡°Sewage & Wastewater Treatment System through Natural Circulation¡± (Utility Model) and continued with ¡°River and Wastewater Purification System that Eliminates Organisms, Phosphorus and Nitrogen (Patent)¡±, ¡°Purification System & Methods for Contaminated Rivers ands Ponds and Lakes¡± (patent), ¡°Bio-contact for river and wastewater treatment (patent)¡± , etc., along with dozens of other technologies in preparation.?
In 2006 it was selected as an excellent project ¡°Environmentally-friendly Eco-Environmental Technologies¡± as part of G-7 & Next Generation Project by Ministry of Environment to be displayed in the National Assembly Members Hall. In July the company was selected as an excellent Technological Corporation by Kibo Technology Fund (No.4146), followed by its selection as Innovative Technological SME (INNO-BIZ) (Small and Medium Business Administration No. 6061-1564) in August. We participated in Int¡¯l EXPO for Green Industry Ecological Environment Technology and a workshop for all of our staff, to celebrate our 7th anniversary (Sandong, China), and presented technologies and participated in exhibitions in Ullungdo and Gyeongju in September. In November, we renewed our ISO9001 certificate (Euro-Asia Certificate Center) and registered as an environmental consulting company recognized by Han River Basin Environmental Office.

Since 2003, our company has participated in Natural-Type River Purification Projects either independently, or jointly with construction companies by sealing license agreements using our Aerated String Contacted Oxidization method, a direct purification method for contaminated water. With the expansion of artificial vegetation islands, artificial wetlands, and Fishway Block markets, we also increased investment in these fields, and continue to broaden our business field through development of reduction technology of Non-point Source Pollutant such as unclassified rainwater pile and Combined Sewer Overflows (CSO) treatment system, of natural purification of sewage treatment plants and advanced treatment processes, and of Ocean Ecology Restoration Facilities while carrying on researching and developing a wide range of natural purification technologies of rivers, ponds and lakes.

To expand the business infrastructure to follow its growth, we constructed a factory in Chungju which is around 5,000 pyeongs in 2002 and established it as a production factory for manufacturing Fishway Blocks, floating frames for waterweed cultivation, etc. In 2006, we constructed the 2nd factory in Gurye, Cheonnam to accelerate R&D projects including environmentally-friendly fireproofing coating materials and functional plastering finishes, functional interior finishing tiles, general construction materials such as non?shrink grouts, and liquid hardeners to the last stage to become a front base for new business areas that are about to launch. In 2007, we plan to construct the 3rd factory to lay a foundation for future business such as soil purification and others.??

Our company set a goal to achieve listing on KOSDAQ within three years based on current technologies and ongoing research projects while all of our employees are striving to make 10 billon won sales for the year 2007 with creative thinking and ardent passion.
